The events leading up to the cruise was rather uneventful. We got our passports and out tickets and began planning what we would do. However, about a week before the cruise, things took a BIG turn for the worst. A BIG nor’easter was forecasted to hit the East Coast the day we were supposed to fly out. They were predicting enormous amounts of snow (like more than 2 feet in most areas). It was known that my dad would be meeting us in Florida because he would be away on business up until the day we left, so instead of flying back, we agreed that he’d meet us in Florida.
So, we were on our own, with the weather working against us. Would we make it out? Go to Day 1 to find out!
