Well, the next morning, we packed up whatever else was left to pack. However, in the process, we learned that something terrible happened overnight - Mrs. Fusco’s mom had died overnight (no, she was not on the cruise with us). So, before stepping off, we went to console her in the restaurant we had eaten in the day before. We all then walked back to the lobby, where the Fusco’s made plans to fly to South Carolina for the funeral (since it was planned for the next day) instead of home (or should I say, Connecticut, since that was where their car was). We were then asked to deboard the ship, and we went through customs (which wasn’t anything really), and then went to our car, so we could go to our hotel.
We arrived at our hotel shortly before 11:00, which was excellent news for me, because I got to watch The Price is Right, and I’m glad I saw it - it was a perfect show! Before the show, my mom and my cousin layed down, and during the show, my dad went out, and didn’t come back until later that afternoon. After The Price is Right was over with, my brother and I went to a neighboring shopping plaza, where we grabbed some pizza for lunch. After we got back, my cousin woke up and asked us to take her to where we got the pizza. We also got my mom a slice too. On the way back, we stopped in a grocery store in the plaza, so my brother could get one of those cereal variety packs. We then went back to the hotel for a while, where my cousin and my mom ate their pizzas. My dad came back shortly after, and we then made plans to meet up with the Dixon’s for dinner. After trying a couple of places, we decided to eat at Chili’s. All of us kids decided on Cajun Chicken, as it has the cajun chicken and noodles with cheese sauce. Another funny part, is that cajun chicken is spicy, so a lot of us ordered it without the spice. What’s funny is the spice is called Cajun, so basically, we had Cajun Chicken without the Cajun! And of course, I took pics from that event as well:
